Japan: Tips For Your Trip is a ten-lesson course designed to ensure you are confident in your travels by knowing essential Japanese phrases, as well as important cultural customs and manners.
The fifty-minute lessons can be taken in any order and combination, depending on what is most interesting and useful for you.
Each lesson consists of three parts:
Words to Say:
These are words that will help you communicate with Japanese people, and give you the ability to ask questions and make requests in a wide variety of situations.
Words to Keep in Mind:
These are words and phrases you will commonly hear during your visit, as well as kanji (Chinese characters) that are used all over Japan. Knowing these words and kanji will help you understand what is happening around you so you can be more confident.
Cultural Points to Understand:
These are important tips that will make you a respectful guest during your stay in Japan. Learn what clothing is acceptable, as well as proper manners for visiting temples and shrines, using a hot spring, riding the train, eating at a restaurant and more!
